Core Project Manager

Introduction

As a Core Project Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting mobile data connectivity processes to ensure seamless user experience and efficient network operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize mobile data connectivity processes such as APN settings, IP allocation, and GGSN/PGW interactions.
• Ensure seamless user experience by troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with network engineers and customer support teams to address technical issues.
• Document and optimize current APN provisioning or troubleshooting workflows to improve efficiency.
• Interpret, analyze, and present technical data to stakeholders to drive decision-making.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in mobile network operations, RAN, core network support, or as a technical analyst.
• Knowledge in APN & Process enhancements.
• Certifications in mobile networks or process improvement (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python) for automation of data analysis.
• Proficiency in 4G, Android, Authentication, Cellular, GGSN, GPRS, KPI, LTE, IP, Lean Six Sigma, Packet Analysis, PGW, RAN, Python, User Experience, Wireshark, Telecommunications, Scripting, Network Support, Multimedia, Network Administration, and Network Operations.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and VoLTE/VoNR.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting APN parameters on various mobile OS platforms (Android, iOS).
• Proficiency in using network protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) to analyze packet traffic.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools to track performance metrics (KPIs).
• Understanding of GGSN/PGW functionality within the mobile core.

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical teams.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and customer support.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to identify potential network bottlenecks.
• Meticulous approach to reviewing network configuration files and logs.
