We are seeking a hands-on UI/UX Developer to design and build a modern, quality web experience for an agentic AI workflow platform operating on legacy wireline telecom data. Primary users are telecom planners, testers, and field engineers who need clarity, speed, and predictability. Executives will also use the platform, so the interface must be polished, professional, and presentation-ready—modern and sleek without sacrificing usability.
This is a small-team, high-ownership role: you’ll take experiences from concept to workflow design to production UI.
Daily Responsibilities
Convert complex agentic workflows (validation, exceptions, approvals, evidence review) into simple, guided user flows.
Make data-heavy work feel easy: strong information hierarchy, progressive disclosure, smart defaults, and minimal cognitive load.
Build UX patterns that support real-world telecom data issues (missing fields, conflicting sources, partial certainty) while keeping the experience intuitive.
Implement a modern UI with a clean visual system: consistent spacing, typography, responsive layouts, and subtle motion/animation used intentionally.
Develop reusable components: queues, workflow steps, review panels, evidence drawers, diff views, reason-code displays, tables with advanced filtering, and audit/history timelines.
Ensure the UI feels fast and smooth even with large datasets (pagination/virtualization, performant rendering, efficient state patterns).
Operations “workbench” for planners/testers/field engineers:
case/queue-driven work, triage, review, approve/reject, escalate
clear statuses, confidence cues, and “what to do next”
Executive experience:
modern dashboards and summaries (progress, risk, exceptions, outcomes/value signals)
clean drill-downs that preserve clarity and avoid overwhelming detail
Work closely with backend/AI/data engineers to define UI contracts (APIs, state models, status codes, error handling).
Rapidly prototype, validate with stakeholders, and iterate to production.
Own quality: usability, accessibility basics, cross-browser behavior, and regression prevention.
Required experience & skills
5+ years delivering modern web applications with strong UI ownership (design-to-implementation).
Expert with a modern front-end framework such as React (preferred) or equivalent.
Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals and experience implementing modern design systems/component libraries.
Demonstrated ability to create sleek, modern interfaces that still support data-heavy enterprise workflows (tables, review flows, audit trails).
Ability to design for mixed audiences: operational practitioners + executive consumers, with clear information hierarchy.
Strong product sensibility: you can simplify complex processes without dumbing them down.
Comfortable in a small team with high autonomy and end-to-end responsibility.
Preferred
