We need an experienced front end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in enterprise systems by collaborating with a development team to build systems with user-centric design.

On our team, you'll coordinate UI / UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using PHP. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, po sit ive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with web application development
• 3+ years of experience developing custom sof tware in PHP
• 1+ years of experience developing custom sof tware in PHP 8
• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 1+ years of experience developing solutions for Government Intranet use
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience upgrading PHP code from PHP 7 to PHP 8
• Experience developing custom PHP code solutions for WordPress, WordPress plugins, PhpBB, or MediaWiki
• Experience supporting Agile development teams using Git and Jira
• Experience with AWS and Linux system administration
• Experience administering or developing web applications for a LAMP stack
• Experience administering or developing WordPress sit es
• Experience supporting DevSecOps using IaC, such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
