Program Overview

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

Position Summary

ECS is seeking a Software Developer - Junior to support the ARNG ENOCS program by developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise application code in Fairfax, VA. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that applications meet approved requirements and adhere to architecture standards and security controls. This position is integral to the program's success, contributing to defect resolution, system enhancements, and deployment readiness within Agile/DevSecOps environments.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain application code in alignment with approved requirements and security standards.
  • Test software to ensure functionality and security compliance.
  • Support defect resolution and implement system enhancements.
  • Participate in integration activities and ensure deployment readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application delivery.
  • Document development activities following enterprise standards.
  • Maintain version control and adhere to secure coding practices.
  • Coordinate with testing and deployment teams to ensure operational readiness.


Required Skills

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Basic proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Up to 3 years of experience in software development within DoD or Federal IT environments
  • Experience with modern programming languages and development frameworks
  • Proven ability to follow secure coding practices and maintain version control
  • Experience in Agile or DevSecOps development environments

  • Clearance: Active Secret preferred
  • Experience with enterprise development standards and cybersecurity requirements
  • Familiarity with integration and testing activities in DoD environments
  • Ability to coordinate with development, testing, and deployment teams
  • Knowledge of DoD 8140 alignment and compliance standards
