Network Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months - C2H
Location: Houston, TX- 5 day a week on-site (on-site schedule Monday through Thursday with Friday half-day remote)

Summary:
The Network Analyst will work within the operations team to support Enterprise Network and contribute to projects when needed requiring network expertise. This position will be end user facing and excellent communication, and troubleshooting skills are critical.
Duties:
- Act as a resource for reported network or application performance issues
- Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
- Provide technical support for all network related issues
- Utilize service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend technologies using best practices/industry standards
- Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
- Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Network Analyst experience
- Extensive troubleshooting experience with large enterprises
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to clearly articulate complex issues
- Experience with Palo Alto products including Panorama, PA NextGen Firewalls and Prisma
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewall and wireless hardware
- Experience with Wireshark and packet level analysis and application performance root cause analysis
- Experience troubleshooting OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Firewalls, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, DMVPNs, Spanning tree and network security
- Working knowledge of Cisco ISE/NAC
- Working knowledge of SNMP, Netflow, IP SLA and other management protocols
- Experience working in Oil and Gas Industry – specifically with field support technicians
