Role Overview
Purpose: Backfill role with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow development, modern React-based UI work, and AI-forward engineering.
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about AI, actively uses it in their daily work (and free time), and helps drive adoption and innovation rather than reacting to change. The team is building AI-enabled UI experiences within the ServiceNow platform and is looking for someone who can help lead that evolution.
Key Focus Areas
- ServiceNow Development
- Core platform work continues to be ServiceNow-centric
- UI development is done within the ServiceNow platform (IDE)
- UI / React Development
- React-based UI built and plugged into ServiceNow
- Focus on designing, building, and training others on modern UI patterns
- Base UI stack is React with strong AI integration
- AI-Forward Engineering (Required)
- Hands-on experience using AI with code
- Comfortable experimenting, learning, and integrating AI into day-to-day workflows
- Excited by AI-driven change and actively helps move the team forward
- Team is using Anthropic (license provided)
- Clinical AI agents are currently being used
- AI will be used during the interview process
Technical Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI-focused features using React and TypeScript
- Integrate UI with ServiceNow using:
- Fluent used to replace Node and handle server-side calls into ServiceNow
- Work with APIs (including Snowflake-backed data)
- Collaborate on system design and understand how multiple systems interact
- Support CI/CD processes
- Help train and mentor others on AI-enabled UI development
This role is not fully full-stack day-to-day, but backend exposure and understanding is considered a strong plus.
