Job Title: IVR Engineer (Amazon Connect) – Onsite

Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)

Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IVR Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based telephony solutions using the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Connect and related AWS services to build scalable, AI-powered IVR systems that enhance customer experience and optimize call handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement IVR solutions using Amazon Connect
Develop serverless backend logic using AWS Lambda (Python/Node.js)
Integrate conversational AI using Amazon Lex
Build and manage APIs using API Gateway
Work with DynamoDB and S3 for data storage and management
Integrate telephony systems using SIP/VoIP technologies
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance IVR workflows
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3
Proficiency in Python or Node.js
Good understanding of IVR systems and call flows
Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and speech recognition technologies
Experience with Amazon Lex or similar chatbot/NLU tools

Preferred Skills:

Experience in AI-driven conversational IVR systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Prior experience working in onsite client environments
