RPA Controller

Introduction: The RPA Controller is responsible for the operational management, monitoring, and support of production robotic process automation (RPA) solutions. This role ensures the stability, performance, and continuity of automated processes by proactively monitoring bot activity, resolving incidents, and supporting production changes.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Monitoring
   • Monitor automation performance within UiPath Orchestrator and related platforms
   • Review job executions, failures, retries, and queue activity
   • Track automation health using dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Splunk, Orchestrator)
2. Incident Management
   • Investigate failed or degraded automations using logs, screenshots, and transaction data
   • Restart jobs and re-run processes where appropriate
   • Escalate issues to Development, Infrastructure, IAM, or application teams as required
3. Operational Support
   • Execute approved operational tasks including manual job runs, retries, and trigger updates
   • Manage bot configurations such as assets, credentials, queues, and schedules
   • Apply configuration-level fixes and support hypercare activities
4. Change & Deployment Support
   • Support deployment of approved production changes
   • Validate automation performance post-change to ensure stability
   • Assist with incident-driven fixes and maintenance updates
5. Communication & Documentation
   • Communicate automation status, incidents, and updates to stakeholders
   • Participate in daily handovers and shift-based operations
   • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, actions taken, and follow-ups
6. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
   • Work with developers, business teams, and IT stakeholders to resolve issues
   • Participate in troubleshooting sessions and operational meetings
   • Support ongoing improvement of automation reliability and support processes

Requirements:

• Experience with RPA tools (preferably UiPath Orchestrator)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Familiarity with incident and change management processes
• Ability to interpret logs and system errors
• Effective communication in a global, shift-based environment
