Summary

We are looking for a Business analyst to join a high-impact team focused on statewide Information Security initiatives.

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid/Remote)

Work Arrangement: Remote with required onsite travel to Columbia, SC at regular intervals (Monthly/Quarterly) and during specific project phases. (Must be local to South Carolina).

Interview Process: 1 Round Virtual/Online.

The Mandatory Skills

Technical Writing: 5+ years of experience creating high-level professional documentation, SOPs, and policies.
Process Mapping: Expert-level skills in MS Visio or PowerPoint to create clear business process flows and diagrams.
Project Coordination: Experience tracking milestones, monitoring KPIs, and managing project risks/changes.
MS Office Mastery: Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the state's Information Security policy, plans, and procedural guidelines.
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) on documentation submitted by vendors and internal staff.
Document project progress, identify risks, and deliver professional updates to leadership.
Support regulatory compliance programs and security assessments.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or Associate's + 2 years of relevant experience).
Must pass comprehensive background checks (SLED, Credit, Drug, E-Verify).
Strong collaborator capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
