Mechanical Project Engineer - Counce MillThe purpose of this position is to...provide mechanical engineering support so that mill goals are met or exceeded.
- Plan, develop, coordinate and direct mechanical engineering projects to a successful completion including meeting the monetary budget.
- Implement projects such that desired results are achieved.
- Adhere to mill safety regulations and promote safety in the performance of job functions.
- Install projects for ease of maintenance and operations. Provide necessary documentation and recommended spare parts.
- Ensure that adequate training is provided.
- Participate and contribute to mill improvement projects.
- Secure and direct the services of outside consultants when required.
Position Requirements:
B. S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the paper industry

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS- Starting salary range for position: $95,000 to $125,000
- Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

- Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
- Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions
