Provides functional leadership and design ownership for the incremental Finished Goods (FERT) and purchased HALB procurement scope in SAP S/4HANA using SAP ECC as the source system. Leads the Key Design Decision (KDD) for P2P Procurement (IM/MM), covering direct procurement from external vendors and subcontracting/backflush integration, and owns MM/P2P configuration, procurement master data migration support, and alignment with SAP EWM for inbound warehouse execution.

- Define and document design options, impacts, and recommendations related to:
- Procurement process flow (PO GR inventory visibility)
- Vendor sourcing and pricing strategy
- Inventory ownership and posting locations (ECC vs S/4)
- Backflush timing, ownership, and reconciliation
- Present KDD design recommendations to business, IT, and program governance forums.
- Drive design decisions to closure, ensuring approvals, sign-offs, and traceability to configuration and build activities.
Key Responsibilities

- Vendor purchasing extensions (~85 vendors)
- Purchase Info Records (PIRs)
- Outline agreements (contracts and/or scheduling agreements)
- Source lists and source determination
- Purchase order processing and GR / IR logic
- Define and document the manual subcontracting/backflush process retained in SAP ECC, including operational steps, controls, and reconciliation approach.
- If automation is pursued with client-owned development, provide functional design inputs and testing support for automated backflush between SAP S/4 and SAP ECC.
- Support ECC S/4 procurement master data migration, including mapping inputs, load readiness, and validation coordination.
- Coordinate with the Client Master Data team to support data loads using standard SAP tools or client-preferred tooling (e.g., Precisely Evolve).
- Ensure alignment between MM/P2P procurement outputs and SAP EWM inbound warehouse execution.
- Support SIT and UAT cycles, including scenario validation and defect resolution.
- Support procurement cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post go-live hypercare stabilization.
