Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with a strong enterprise background to support and manage large-scale Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle administration, performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery, along with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise Oracle database environments in medium to large infrastructures
  • Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
  • Conduct SQL performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Design, implement, and maintain High Availability (HA) clusters and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
  • Manage and monitor databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
  • Work with materialized views, backup, recovery, and capacity planning
  • Collaborate directly with internal customers to understand requirements and resolve database issues
  • Ensure database reliability, security, and performance in production environments

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Oracle installation, upgrades, and migrations
    • SQL tuning and performance optimization
    • HA and DR architecture and implementation
    • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
  • Experience supporting medium to large enterprise environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with internal customers

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Exposure to AWS cloud environments
  • Any experience supporting or integrating with SAP systems
