Overview
Alabama Power is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a growing portfolio of OutSystems applications and digital transformation initiatives within PD Technology. This individual will serve as a technical leader capable of driving projects from requirements gathering through deployment while helping mentor other developers and expand the team's delivery capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain OutSystems applications supporting multiple business initiatives.
- Lead technical discussions, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design efforts.
- Create and manage user stories, technical documentation, development tasks, and application roadmaps.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and developers to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support migration and modernization efforts, including converting existing applications into OutSystems.
- Contribute to application architecture, integrations, and platform best practices.
- Help distribute project leadership responsibilities and reduce dependency on existing technical leads.
- Mentor and support junior developers across development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong full-stack development background.
- Experience with .NET, C#, web services, APIs, SQL databases, and modern web technologies.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and interact directly with business stakeholders.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and project coordination skills.
- Experience working across multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
- Utility industry experience.
- Experience with application modernization initiatives.
- Experience leading development teams or serving as a technical lead.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, Jira, or related tools.
