2: Supply Chain, Engineering or related degree
3: Experience in Supplier Quality
4: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
5: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
6: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques; ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
7: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

We are looking for a Supplier Technical Engineer to support the resolution of quality issues and processes for the supply function in the organization.
DESIRED (not required) SKILLS:
:: Familiarity with investment casting and airfoils (blades, nozzles)
Duties and Responsibilities
== Provides conclusions and recommendations for quality issues and/or continuous quality improvement projects.
== Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve quality levels.
== Ensures the reliability and quality of suppliers, implementing process controls, certification programs, evaluations, inspections, corrective actions, audits and records.
== Identifies quality problem(s) and determines a short-term and long-term action plan with the organization and the supplier.
== Utilizes quality processes to qualify new products.
== Utilizes quality indicators relevant to own unit or function.
== Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices.
== Applies key aspects of continuous improvement processes and evaluates impact on quality.
== Uses quality evaluation tools and techniques such as walkthroughs and inspections.
== Works with quality assurance methods, tools and techniques.
== Demonstrates experience participating in productive collaborative processes.
== Under guidance, initiates collaborative meetings.
== Assists in communicating shared goals with diverse groups and parties.
== Helps promote collaboration across generations, functions, regions, and levels.
== Helps solve business problems and meet business goals through collaborative processes.
== Recognizes changing demands and priorities; validates changes with management.
== Obtains information about how current assignments contribute to organizational goals.
