We are seeking a GIS Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of an enterprise GIS platform supporting next-generation grid, asset management, and utility network capabilities. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and modern geospatial solutions leveraging cloud, AI, and digital twin technologies.

The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, translating requirements into robust architecture while driving innovation and long-term GIS strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and propose GIS solutions that deliver measurable business value and address operational challenges
• Translate business and system requirements into scalable architecture and design specifications
• Lead the integration of GIS technologies with enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, and security frameworks
• Develop and support enterprise GIS strategies aligned with long-term digital transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with business units to define and optimize GIS workflows and platform capabilities
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and planning sessions
• Evaluate and recommend GIS-related tools, platforms, and integrations
• Ensure solutions are flexible, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs
• Contribute to the development of a future-state geospatial operating model
• Communicate technical insights and strategies to cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise GIS solutions
• Hands-on experience with GIS platforms (desktop, server, and online environments)

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and system integration
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, or other RDBMS
• Programming/scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, HTML5, or similar)
• Knowledge of geospatial concepts (spatial analysis, map projections, etc.)
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and integration platforms (e.g., BizTalk, FME)
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments
