Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position within the chemicals manufacturing industry, offering a dynamic environment to apply your expertise in network infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing network systems while ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security protocols.
Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches to maintain efficient network operations.
Implement and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure data exchange.
Administer and monitor Cisco ASA systems to enhance network reliability and security.
Manage and optimize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations for effective routing and connectivity.
Utilize Cisco Networking solutions to maintain scalable and secure network infrastructures.
Deploy Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) for streamlined network management.
Analyze and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network improvements.
Conduct regular assessments of network security and performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.
Requirements
Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and networking systems.
Strong knowledge of Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA for network security.
Expertise in configuring and managing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Familiarity with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Excellent understanding of network security protocols and best practices.
Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
