Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Professional for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a contract to hire opportunity. This role will join a team focused on treasury, payment, and transaction services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable hands-on experience in automation projects, capable of reviewing requirements, designing and developing test scripts, and executing automation in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a mandatory hybrid schedule of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Review requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis
- Design, develop, maintain, and analyze automated test scripts
- Execute automation scripts, preparing execution reports and defect logs
- Create project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards
- Perform system and data analysis based on business need including integration testing and data quality validation
- Create test plans, scripts and artifacts for all phases of testing
- Identify, document and resolve data quality/data integrity issues
- Support parallel projects in waterfall/agile development methodologies
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a QA Professional in treasury/payment/transactions services
- Strong knowledge (5+ years) in technologies/programming such as Core Java, VB Scripting, SQL, Basic Unix, and Cucumber
- 4+ years of Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing experience
- Strong command over SQL with the ability to write complex queries across different systems (Oracle preferred)
- Strong experience (3+ years) in parsing & generating data/files, bank standards, XML and XPath
- Hands on experience with Eclipse or NetBeans, TestNG, version control like Bitbucket, Selenium, and Cucumber
- Proficient with mapping and requirements analysis
- Primary skills in Selenium, Core Java, and Agile tools (Jira)
Desired skills: - Shell Scripts/Regular Expressions (RegExps)/UNIX experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting, debugging/triaging skills
- Experience in automation development, cross-functional leadership, and team leadership
Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hour
