Role: QA Automation Engineer (Financials/Brokerage)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid - 3 Days On-site)
Compensation: $35.61/hr (W2)
Duration: 6 Months+
### Position Overview
We are looking for an Intermediate QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to deliver manual and automated testing for financial and securities trading front-end applications. This role requires a strong understanding of brokerage data (E*TRADE/Financial instruments) and hands-on expertise in Java/Selenium, Mobile, and API testing.
### Key Responsibilities
* Automation Development: Design and execute automated test cases for Web, Mobile, and API applications using Java Selenium and Rest Assured.
* Team Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between onshore and offshore QA teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
* Agile Integration: Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospectives within a fast-paced environment; use JIRA/XRAY for test management.
* Domain Testing: Validate complex financial and securities trading data for brokerage platforms.
* End-to-End Quality: Implement testing strategies, manage system dependencies, and ensure production roll testing staffing is maintained.
### Required Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in IT/Software QA.
* Technical Stack: Advanced hands-on experience with Java Selenium (UI) and Postman/Rest Assured (API).
* Domain Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of Financials/Securities trading (Brokerage or E*TRADE experience preferred).
* Tooling: Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
* Leadership: Experience leading or coordinating offshore teams in short sprint cycles.
* Logistics: Must be local to Alpharetta, GA, for a Mandatory F2F Interview.
