Your Team, Your ImpactMarvell's DCG develops cutting-edge semiconductor solutions in the most advanced technologies. Our focus is on solving the most difficult design problems in the areas of AI, wired and wireless communications, and other infrastructure applications.
What You Can ExpectThis position would report to the GM of Custom Compute and Storage business group and will focus on silicon solutions for compute, data-plane, AI/ML and 5G. Will work closely internally with the Software and Support Engineering teams, Product and Program Management teams and be responsible for projects, schedules, and engineering quality on all work assigned to the team.
This position would take an active role in defining roadmaps, strategy and providing expert guidance on the development of market leading products and features on both current and future product lines. Will work closely with large hyper scale customers in building most cutting edge IP and products.

- Developing and managing a very large, global and diverse team
- Building and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing budgets and plans, directly and indirectly, greater than $100 million
- Defining and Implementing ways to improve cost efficiency
- Anticipates future needs and initiates the development and implementation of new approaches to engineering design and development
- Provides leadership and direction in long-term program strategy and process design
- Works with business group management teams to ensure that programs, strategies, and processes are aligned with the organization's direction
- Defines performance metrics and reports on the engineering functions' progress against specific goals
- Interfaces with internal and external customers on engineering issues
- Responsible for attracting, growing and retaining top talent
What We're Looking ForTo be considered for this position, a candidate will possess and demonstrate the following education, skills, experience and characteristics:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Systems Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 20 years of directly related experience is required with at least 10 years progressive experience managing global engineering teams
- Must have demonstrated experience in bringing products from concept to production through various phases of Architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, DFT and silicon bring up of complex SoCs
- Proven track record of building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
- Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
- Builds strong partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Creates new and better ways for the organization to be successful
- Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
- Consistently achieves results even under tough circumstances
- Must be highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies
- Strong understanding of technology development process and industry-related technology trends.
