Data Encryption Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Encryption Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle database security, encryption, high availability, disaster recovery, and database administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure database encryption solutions while ensuring performance, availability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Oracle database encryption strategies in accordance with security and compliance requirements.

• Design and implement Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) for Oracle databases.

• Architect and implement Oracle Key Vault (OKV) solutions for secure key management.

• Encrypt Production, Pre-Production, and Development databases.

• Implement end-to-end Oracle Key Vault functionality, including key management and security controls.

• Design, configure, test, and implement Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.4.

• Develop and implement database backup, restore, and recovery strategies.

• Install, configure, and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) database environments.

• Implement and support Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Oracle databases for optimal performance across multiple applications.

• Conduct security, encryption, and database performance testing.

• Develop database security, encryption, backup, and recovery management plans.

• Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business and IT strategies.

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop business cases and value plans.

• Drive technical deliverables from planning and design through implementation.

• Develop operational support plans to ensure database reliability, availability, and security.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, database, application, and business teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Database Security and Encryption.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle TDE and Oracle Key Vault (OKV).

• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.4.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration.

• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.

• Knowledge of Oracle MAA and database recovery strategies.

• Experience with database backup, restore, and recovery.

• Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience securing databases across Production, Pre-Production, and Development environments.

• Strong understanding of database security, encryption, key management, and compliance.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
