Job Description
We are seeking a Database Administrator III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and high availability and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize complex database platforms while leading initiatives with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement complex SQL Server databases, including high-tier environments.
- Lead or contribute to multiple moderately complex projects and special initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on database best practices, methods, and standards.
- Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization, including AlwaysOn configuration and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate complex issues using in-depth analysis and exercise judgment within established policies.
- Assign work, resolve problems, and mentor team members as needed.
- Automate operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on SQL Server Administration in enterprise environments.
- Expertise with AlwaysOn availability groups, performance tuning, and optimization for large, high-tier systems.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing complex database solutions.
- Ability to lead initiatives and operate with minimal supervision in a project-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- MS SQL DBA experience within banking, preferably on the Application DBA side.
- Strong sense of problem ownership and client accountability.
- Linux administration and scripting proficiency (Shell, Python).
- Experience automating operations, monitoring, and maintenance for TigerGraph or other NoSQL environments.

- Work schedule: Hybrid, minimum three days per week onsite.
- Hours per day: 8. Labor Type: Technical.
