What You'll Be Doing:
Within the MDM Vendor Management Team, build and maintain controller flows and reusable subflows for multi-step vendor processes (approvals, tasks, pre/post-integration steps).
Develop catalog items, client scripts, and script includes while ensuring maintainable forms and MRVS logic.
Design and support REST/S3 integrations, including payload creation, status checks, work notes, and retry logic.
Map, coalesce, and govern large inbound data sets within ServiceNow.
Implement robust error handling and validation; analyze logs, trace failures, and resolve root causes.
Model and manage key data relationships (vendors, contracts, approval steps, hierarchies, category codes).
Demonstrate solutions to stakeholders and develop proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate approaches.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories, meet acceptance criteria, and iterate efficiently.
Support UAT by preparing data, triaging issues, and collaborating with administrators and fulfillers.
Partner with platform administrators and project leadership to ensure smooth, predictable releases.
What You'll Need to Have:
3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with Flow Designer, approvals, catalog items, client scripts, script includes, business rules, custom scoped applications, and ACLs.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/S3) and managing end-to-end payload processing.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and platform principles, including when to configure vs. customize OOTB functionality.
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and Integration Hub/SPOKE.
Experience working with inbound data patterns (import sets, transforms, coalesce) and data governance concepts.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze logs and resolve complex issues.
Experience working in Agile environments (user stories, acceptance criteria, iteration cycles) and supporting UAT.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with ITIL and Service Management processes.
Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred).
Agile training and/or certification (preferred).
