Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer with a strong background in security engineering to support enterprise applications in preparation for the next generation of post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in secure application development, cryptographic implementations, and PKI infrastructure while working in Unix-based environments.

This role requires a hands-on developer who can independently design, develop, and deliver secure, high-quality solutions for medium to complex security initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development.
  • Strong experience with C++ in enterprise environments.
  • Solid experience working on RHEL / Unix platforms.
  • Strong Shell Scripting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for automation and scripting.
  • Experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), including:
    • Public and Private Keys
    • Keystores
    • Encryption & Decryption
    • Certificate Management
  • Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
  • Experience analyzing technical requirements and delivering scalable, secure solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical leads and architects on solution design.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and NIST PQC Standards.
  • Experience implementing or integrating cryptographic algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Java (Preferred, not mandatory).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance enterprise client applications for post-quantum technology readiness.
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure C++ applications on RHEL/Unix platforms.
  • Build automation scripts using Python and Shell Scripting for security workflows.
  • Implement and maintain cryptographic solutions using PKI concepts.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and provide secure implementation strategies.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex security and application issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable application development.
  • Follow coding standards, security best practices, and software development lifecycle processes.
