Role: Cyber Security Project Manager – Network Security

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager – Network Security to lead enterprise network security operations, threat detection, and incident response initiatives. This role will manage a team of security analysts and engineers while driving the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of network security across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage network security operations, including monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Oversee network security architecture across datacenter, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement and mature Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and modern security frameworks.
• Manage and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers.
• Investigate and coordinate response to network intrusions, malware incidents, and data exfiltration attempts.
• Ensure visibility and monitoring through SIEM, NDR, firewalls, and network logs.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001 standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Cloud, DevOps, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure secure infrastructure and operations.
• Provide executive-level reporting on security posture, threats, and incident response activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of Information Security experience with a strong focus on network security.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing security teams or SOC operations.
• Strong expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, network segmentation, proxies, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred), NDR, and EDR tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, packet analysis, and threat detection techniques.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (Azure or AWS).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation or scripting (Python, KQL).
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
