Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Data Architect. This is a hands-on role requiring active participation in data modeling, coding, and troubleshooting.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with over 10 years of expertise in data modeling, analytics, and development. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in Erwin, PL/SQL, Oracle, and Python, with a strong preference for candidates with telecom domain experience. This is a hands-on role involving designing, managing, and optimizing data architecture to support business objectives. This in-person role is based in St. Louis, requiring 4 days in the office. The position is a long-term contract with potential for extension based on performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the organization's data strategy while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable data models using Erwin to meet business requirements
* Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts and Oracle-based solutions
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data architectures
* Lead the development of data pipelines, integration, and migration strategies
* Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards
* Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and support decision-making
* Provide technical leadership in adopting best practices for data architecture in the telecom domain

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and analytics
* Proficiency in Erwin, PL/SQL, Oracle, and Python
* Strong analytical skills for deriving insights from complex datasets
* Expertise in database design, ETL processes, and performance optimization
* Familiarity with telecom-specific data systems is highly preferred
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
