Job Description:
NetSuite developer should have extensive experience with NetSuite's JavaScript API and Suite Cloud
platforms, as well as web development skills and knowledge of best practices.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience in application support and development.
• Experience using NetSuite JavaScript API and Suite Cloud platforms - Suite Script, Suite
Commerce, Suite Talk, and Suite Flow
• Expertise in workflows and functional areas and designing the project.
Responsibilities
• Develop scripts and workflows to enhance NetSuite functionality and automate business
processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions for NetSuite issues as
needed.
• Create, maintain, and optimize existing NetSuite customizations using Suite Script, Suite
Commerce, Suite Talk, and Suite Flow.
• Review all configuration changes and manage production releases to ensure the highest quality of
code deployment and security.
• Integrate, support, and maintain third party software connections to NetSuite using web services,
REST APIs, and other methods.
• Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users including training.
• Monitor and administer account management, roles and access, profile creation, security
administration, etc.
Technical Knowledge:
1. Extensive experience working with SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0, adhering to scripting standards.
2. Proficiency in integrating NetSuite with third-party tools using Restlet, REST web services, and
Suitelet.
3. Expertise in designing and implementing workflows.
4. Familiarity with EDI documents and be able to integrate them with NetSuite.
5. In-depth knowledge of PDF template customizations.
Functional Knowledge:
1. Proficiency in modules such as Intercompany, basic accounting, inventory management, WMS,
MRP, R2R, and FAM. Utilizing knowledge from these modules, assist users in resolving queries.
2. Support for end-user requests related to new saved searches, datasets, workbooks, reports, KPIs,
and dashboards.
3. Assistance in resolving queries regarding CSV imports and debugging issues related to access or
permissions.
4. Ability to create and configure fields, forms, lists, and publish dashboards as necessary.
