Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to support our residential, commercial, civil, and energy-sector surveying projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional organization, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare property plats, including easement, boundary, Land Title, ALTA, and subdivision surveys.
- Collaborate with project managers to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
- Support project management efforts across residential, civil, commercial, and energy industry projects through a variety of tasks.
- Manage project intake, including documentation and coordination of survey requests.
- Prepare base drawing (DWG) files and project records for field and office workflows.
- Assist with field scheduling, ensuring accurate communication and coordination.
- Perform field data drafting, ensuring precision and adherence to project standards.
- Prepare and/or review legal descriptions and exhibits for multiple survey types.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews on a wide range of survey deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements - Experience researching county and city records, including chain of title, encumbrances, and prior survey records.
- Prior experience supporting commercial and residential land surveying projects and workflows.
- Proficiency in deed interpretation and plotting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey software.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a high-performing environment.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
