The Data Scientist will analyze large datasets and apply data science techniques to generate insights that support informed decision-making for the client.
The role involves working with stakeholders, building analytical models, and developing data-driven solutions to improve organizational processes and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights
Apply statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques
Develop data models, prototypes, and analytical solutions
Collaborate with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders
Assess data quality, structure, and usability from multiple data sources
Build and maintain data solutions, dashboards, and analytical tools
Develop lightweight data applications using frameworks such as Shiny, Dash, Flask, or Streamlit
Maintain and manage code repositories using Git/GitHub
Document technical specifications and communicate findings to stakeholders
Provide support and guidance to junior data science staff when needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, or related field
2+ years of Data Science experience (or equivalent experience)
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL
Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, clustering, and decision trees
Strong understanding of data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization
Experience working with relational databases and large datasets
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with data visualization tools
Knowledge of geospatial data, geocoding, or network analysis
Experience with Neo4j, Docker, or Kubernetes
Experience developing interactive data applications using Shiny, Dash, Flask, or Streamlit
