Neos is Seeking a DevOps Engineer for a contract-to-hire role for with our client in Austin, TX.
***HYBRID - ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE AUSTIN, TX AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED***
Position is Hybrid with two days onsite (Austin, TX)
Some after-hours work will be required during deployments and while participating in the on-call rotation.

Job Description
This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation solutions, and production environments. They will work closely with development, quality assurance, security, and operations teams to improve deployment processes, system reliability, scalability, and overall platform performance.
This individual will participate in backlog grooming sessions, daily scrums, architecture discussions, and requirements-gathering activities. They will collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure teams as needed, while providing regular updates to the scrum team and project leadership. The candidate will actively represent technical concerns, solution options, and the potential impact of infrastructure and application changes. They will triage and resolve issues across production and multiple non-production environments while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

- Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents, agent-orchestration frameworks, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, API management technologies, intelligent automation solutions, and AI-assisted development practices that improve productivity
- Dynatrace and SolarWinds
Required Skills:
- Supporting enterprise application platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, container orchestration, and API management technologies.
- Supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise application services, integration services, SDLC environments, networked systems, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Applying middleware technologies, tools, and protocols, including certificate services, API gateways, JDBC, JMS, SOAP and REST web services, and related integration technologies to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex application, middleware, Windows Server, Linux, networking, and infrastructure issues, including performance, authentication, capacity, connectivity, and system integration challenges.
- Leveraging approved AI-assisted engineering technologies, Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) services, automation platforms, and development tools to improve software delivery, platform reliability, incident analysis, troubleshooting, knowledge management, system optimization, and operational efficiency.
