• Location: NJB14 - NJ - Bellmawr, 321 Benigno Blvd 

• Contract: W2 only, 11-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time 

• Pay: $30/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match 

Overview 

This position involves hands-on work with IP router, switch, and telephony customer premises equipment. The role includes designing, configuring, and deploying LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, and communication links. The candidate will optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment 

• Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services 

• Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues 

• Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards 

• Support faster and quicker rollout of projects such as Virtual CMTS, Janus, DAA, SDWAN 

• Maintain resource availability and alignment to support workload and redeployment to meet SLA requirements 

Required Skills 

• Specific knowledge and 0 to 3 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers 

• Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing 

• Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies 

• Experience with protocols 

• Firewall experience such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.) 

• Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers 

• CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications are a plus 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience with Arista, Advantech, HP equipment 

• Knowledge of Python scripting for automation 

• Experience with physical aspects of equipment, including powering up devices 

• Ability to work onsite in a lab environment, supporting equipment testing and deployment 

• Experience with device configuration and installation 

• Hands-on experience more valued than certifications 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting large-scale network upgrades
