Senior PCB Design Engineer

Overview
We are seeking an experienced PCB Designer contractor with strong OrCAD skills and RF design experience to support ongoing and upcoming engineering programs. This role will work closely with hardware and RF engineers to design, layout, and release high-quality printed circuit boards for advanced electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout complex PCBs using OrCAD (Capture & Allegro)

• Support RF and high-frequency PCB designs, including controlled impedance and signal integrity

• Collaborate with hardware and RF engineers from schematic through layout and release

• Apply best practices for DFM/DFA, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability

• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation

• Support board bring-up and troubleshooting as needed

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PCB Designer in a contract or project-based environment

• Strong proficiency with OrCAD

• Hands-on experience with RF PCB design

• Solid understanding of multilayer boards, impedance control, and signal integrity

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-speed digital designs

• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, telecom, or embedded systems

• Experience working directly with manufacturers and CM partners
