Senior GraphQL API Developer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior GraphQL API Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API design to build scalable backend platforms. This role focuses on GraphQL and REST API development, distributed systems, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, along with modern CI/CD and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GraphQL and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build scalable, reliable distributed systems for high-performance applications
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Perform peer code reviews and ensure code quality
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications on AWS
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and integration issues from API consumers
• Contribute to modern engineering practices, including automation and AI-assisted development
• Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability

Required Skills / Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven expertise in building GraphQL and RESTful APIs
• Experience with distributed systems design and microservices architecture
• Solid experience with AWS (compute, storage, deployment pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
• Strong understanding of design patterns and backend architecture
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production support

Nice to Have

• Experience with React / React Native
• Exposure to Go (Golang)
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, testing, or automation
