Job Title: Lead Data Engineer_ W2

Location: Plano, TX.

Experience: 12

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing data movement between external partners, such as Equifax, and internal systems. The environment primarily leverages Databricks and Snowflake, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy data platforms and enabling new data sources to become fully consumable across the organization. The team is seeing a significant influx of new data sources into JPMorgan Chase and needs an expert who can optimize how this data is integrated, transformed, and consumed across the organization. This is a highly senior role requiring both deep technical acumen and leadership maturity.

Looking for someone with Technical Leadership skills who can grown into more of a leadership role at JPMC.

Position: Senior Data Engineer (603 Level)

Type: Right-to-Hire

Interview: Onsite preferred; Zoom acceptable for the first round

Key Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer

Strong expertise in Java or Python

3 4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks

Proven experience leading modernization efforts for data platforms

Technical leadership capabilities; position has potential to grow into a people-leadership role

Experience working with AWS

Migration from EMR to Databricks

Migration from EMR to Snowflake
