Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Engineer to join our team!

In this role, you will provide technical expertise for the Point of Entry family of systems, supporting installation, maintenance, and field-related sustainment work worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support system installation, upgrades, refreshes, and maintenance at Point of Entry sites globally
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and asset inventory for field-related sustainment and logistical work
  • Participate in testing and evaluation of software and hardware upgrades at the warehouse laboratory and test bed
  • Conduct site surveys to collect data for successful system deployment planning and execution
  • Execute both software and hardware maintenance, as well as infrastructure (electrical systems, HVAC, generators) installation and sustainment
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance, Checks, and Services (PMCS) to ensure optimal system performance
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects, Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to improve maintenance procedures
  • Provide technical support to the help desk for remote problem resolution

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in field engineering or technical support roles
  • Proficiency in hardware and software maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of complex systems
  • Experience with infrastructure installation and sustainment (electrical systems, HVAC, generators)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally.
  • Must have an active Passport.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as thermography and ultrasonics
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of government contracting processes and procedures
  • Multi-lingual capabilities for international deployments
  • Active Polygraph

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
