Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and distributed data systems. This role requires strong expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, ETL development, and data warehousing.
The ideal candidate will lead data architecture initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing systems
Develop and maintain data lakes and data warehouses
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards
Optimize SQL queries and large-scale data transformations
Work with structured and unstructured datasets
Collaborate with Data Science and BI teams
Implement CI/CD for data pipelines
Lead architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field
5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering
Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data architecture
Advanced SQL and database optimization skills
Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling
