The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a precision-focused Electronics Technician to serve as a technical linchpin in the production of mission-critical hardware. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering schematics and high-performance reality, ensuring that every assembly meets the rigorous demands of the aerospace and defense sectors.
This is a high-impact position where your expertise in board-level diagnostics and sophisticated soldering directly contributes to the reliability of sophisticated electronic systems.
What You’ll Do
Execute precision assembly and soldering of circuit card components, strictly adhering to elite industry benchmarks for high-reliability electronics.
Fabricate intricate cable systems and wiring harnesses, ensuring full compliance with specialized interconnect standards.
Diagnose and resolve complex board-level malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and functional testing protocols.
Reconstruct sensitive electronic assemblies through expert-level rework of both surface-mount and through-hole technologies.
Synthesize technical data from engineering blueprints and wiring schematics to guide flawless hardware builds.
Validate product integrity through meticulous visual assessments and rigorous quality assurance testing.
Partner with cross-functional engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot technical bottlenecks and refine manufacturing workflows.
Document all technical interventions, including testing outcomes and rework cycles, to maintain comprehensive traceability.
Champion electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety protocols and sterile environment standards to protect sensitive hardware.
What You Bring
Technical Certification: Current or prior IPC J-STD-001 credentials are essential.
Professional Tenacity: At least 5 years of sophisticated electronics assembly experience, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or high-stakes manufacturing industries.
Diagnostic Mastery: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair circuit boards at the component level.
Technical Literacy: Exceptional skill in interpreting complex schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
Precision Craftsmanship: Advanced proficiency in soldering, cable fabrication, and rework techniques paired with superior manual dexterity.
Compliance Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ESD prevention methods and rigorous quality control frameworks.
Citizenship: ship is required, with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
