Summary

Title: Insurance Now Developer

Location: San Mateo, California (Remote)

Duration: 6+ months (with extension)

MOI: Video

We are hiring an Insurance Now Developer position to join our team remotely!

Responsibilities:

Build and customize a new Cyber insurance product on Guidewire InsuranceNow
Design and implement complex rating logic and business rules using Java
Develop and modify UI heavy workflows with significant data entry and validation
Extend and override existing Java services, service handlers, and core application logic
Implement changes safely within a shared, multi product InsuranceNow environment
Configure and work with XML based configurations and data structures
Collaborate closely with other developers, product partners, and internal teams
Contribute to early claims module development as the product evolves

Qualifications:

Hands on experience with InsuranceNow
Strong Java development skills, especially for business logic and service customization
Experience working on data heavy UI workflows (HTML/JavaScript basics are helpful)
Comfort working with XML based configurations and data models
Basic to intermediate SQL skills for understanding relational data behavior.
