Pay Range: $60 - $62/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure application and process resiliency by addressing production issues during assigned shifts (non-business hours when assigned)
  • Address user inquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide requirement for and/or assist with the development of Mercury Plus s ICM and FAS forecasting engines
  • Support the calculation of impacts associated with future model deployments
  • Support the E2E testing of all engines within Mercury Plus
  • Troubleshoot application related issues in both production and when needed in lower environments
  • Communicate performance patterns and trends to stakeholders
  • Support environment related maintenance and management
  • Develop automated tools to assist with core responsibilities mentioned above
  • Assist with the Project Management tasks for the ICM and FAS forecasting engines

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must Have - 3+ years of experience in pulling and writing Python Scripts, SQL management, and Excel data analysis. Prior production support experience is required, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • 3+ years of work experience.
  • Proven experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and similar
  • Good knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Finance Analytics
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Ability to work on weekend and evenings for one week a month is necessary.
  • Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications or tasks
  • Bachelor s/Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or other quantitative field
  • Experience with JIRA, particularly creating dashboards and tickets along with their maintenance
  • Communication and interpersonal skills working in a collaborative team and interacting with business customers
  • Bringing an analytical and imaginative mentality to work every day
  • Relentless attention to business and technical details
  • Desire to learn financial and quantitative models
  • Passion to ensure customer satisfaction and improve processes.
  • Being dependable to address production issues during assigned non-business hour shifts (Evenings/Weekend)
