Position Summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – SAP FICO to support enterprise-wide SAP Finance initiatives. This role will serve as a functional and technical leader responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Financials and Controlling solutions while driving business process improvements and integration across key enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP FICO expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and experience supporting complex SAP landscapes including ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Intercompany Accounting.
• Lead SAP Finance implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support activities.
• Design scalable finance solutions that maximize Cardinal Health's SAP investment.
• Support and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) financial integrations.
• Configure and support DMEE Trees and Electronic Bank Statement formats (BAI2 and MT940).
• Provide expertise related to GL determination, movement types, valuation postings, and financial processes.
• Support SAP BRIM, FI-CA, RAR, and Digital Payments Add-On integrations.
• Analyze production issues and perform root cause analysis to improve application stability and performance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Mentor SAP team members and provide leadership on enterprise projects.
• Collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT teams to deliver business value.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience.
• Experience supporting:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Profitability Analysis (COPA)
  • Product Costing
• SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience.
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash integrations.
• Experience configuring DMEE Trees and Electronic Bank Statements.
• EDI configuration, testing, and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• FI-CA and Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) experience.
