Sourcing Specialist, Diagnostics Direct Procurement

Responsibilities:

• Execute direct procurement operations activities for Tissue Diagnostics in alignment with category management strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships, including issue resolution and escalation handling.
• Support master data management activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to cost savings initiatives and value improvement programs.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within procurement processes.
• Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and identify risks.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies, with support for complex negotiations as needed.
• Translate business requirements into procurement specifications with a customer-focused approach.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of procurement objectives.
• Participate in team meetings, presentations, and briefings to gather and share information.

Required Skills And Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Business or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of procurement experience, including basic contracting and spot buying.
• Experience working with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making.
• Understanding of supplier management and procurement lifecycle processes.
• Ability to independently manage deliverables and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Exposure to eSourcing tools and procurement technologies.
• Experience supporting cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in Life Sciences or related industry.
