Job#: 3028302 Job Description: As a
Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable digital solutions across eCommerce, mobile, and enterprise systems. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, UX, QE, MarTech, and Data teams to translate business needs into pragmatic, high-quality technical solutions that support omnichannel retail experiences.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with strong systems thinking, deep retail domain knowledge, and the ability to guide teams from concept through delivery while maintaining architectural integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned to retail business goals and digital roadmaps
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable technical designs
- Define integration patterns across commerce platforms, third-party vendors, and internal systems
- Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams to ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and resiliency requirements
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve digital retail capabilities
- Support omnichannel initiatives across web, mobile, and in-store experiences
- Partner with QE, UX, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, well-tested, and operable solutions
- Contribute to reducing technical debt and promoting strong engineering practices
- Act as a trusted technical advisor across cross-functional stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture roles
- Strong experience delivering B2C digital commerce solutions across web and mobile
- Proven experience with composable commerce and modern integration patterns
- Experience with leading eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Solid understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and data integration
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
