Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing data mappings, building dashboards, and ensuring data quality and integrity. This role requires close collaboration with data engineers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark for data analysis and transformation.

• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, preferably using Spark SQL within Databricks.

• 5+ years of experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Databricks native visualization tools.

• 5+ years of experience in data mapping, data modeling, and data transformation.

• 5+ years of experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data validation, and data quality management.

• Strong understanding of data integration concepts and analytical data products.

• Experience collaborating with data engineers and technical teams to deliver data solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the Medallion Architecture.

• Familiarity with Delta Lake and lakehouse architecture.

• Experience preparing curated datasets for business intelligence and downstream applications.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning concepts.
