Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud Developer to design, develop, and enhance its enterprise-scale e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Java, Spring Boot, and modern e-commerce architectures while building high-performance, scalable online shopping experiences.

Required Experience

8+ years of overall software engineering experience.
5+ years of hands-on SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud development.
Strong experience building enterprise-scale e-commerce applications.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud modules:
- Core
- Backoffice
- OCC
- Spartacus (Angular Storefront)
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Promotions
Experience building scalable e-commerce features, including:
- Fast checkout flows
- Real-time inventory
- Personalized shopping experiences
- Cart management
- Search functionality
Strong knowledge of:
- REST APIs
- SQL databases
- Solr / Elasticsearch
- Git
- CI/CD pipelines
Experience optimizing high-volume e-commerce platforms handling thousands of orders per minute with low latency.

Key Responsibilities

Design, customize, and extend the SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud platform.
Develop and maintain Spartacus-based storefronts integrated with backend services.
Build custom extensions, workflows, and integrations with payment gateways, ERP, logistics, and third-party systems.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and high availability.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Support cloud deployments and production releases.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Commerce Cloud Certification.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Event-driven architecture experience.
Kubernetes experience.
Front-end development experience with Angular and TypeScript.
