Key Responsibilities
  • Process Requests for Engineering Quotations (RFEQs) to support sales and project execution
  • Provide direct technical support to sales, service, distributors, and partners as required

  • Troubleshoot electromechanical systems, components, and integrated solutions
  • Perform basic setup, programming, and troubleshooting of:
    • PLCs
    • Motor drives
    • Industrial communication systems
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and controls
  • Experience working within ERP-driven engineering environments
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, service, and manufacturing teams
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Experience supporting cost reduction and standardization initiatives

Required Qualifications (Mid-Level Let's Build Cool Things)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 3-7 years of hands-on experience designing, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems in an industrial, manufacturing, or automation environment
  • Comfortable navigating the engineering paperwork side of life-RFEQs, ECOs, Sales Orders, and ERP workflows won't scare you
  • Solid experience creating real-world electrical designs and documentation, including wiring diagrams, BOMs, and functional specifications
  • Enjoys getting hands-on to troubleshoot electromechanical systems and dig into root causes-not just pass problems along
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and industrial communication systems, including basic setup, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Able to own standard designs independently, while collaborating with the team on more complex or custom challenges
  • Naturally curious, analytical, and motivated to make designs better, simpler, and more standardized
  • Clear communicator who can partner effectively with sales, service, manufacturing, and suppliers

Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred
3-7 years of electrical design experience preferred
(prior software coding experience preferred)
Experience with PLC and motor drives programming, industrial communication protocols (preferred).
Skilled at progressing from problem statement to well-documented and tested designs
Understanding and applications of national and international standards such as ISO, OSHA, ANSI standards
