Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and building cloud-based microservices, full-stack development with Java/Spring Boot and Angular, and data-centric platforms and a proven ability to deliver scalable, resilient services that meet uptime and accuracy targets for clinical and analytic applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and cloud-based microservices for data-centric clinical and analytics applications.


• Translate product requirements into high-quality, testable code in Go, Python, Java, or similar languages.


• Build services and integrations for data warehousing, big data, business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning workloads.


• Contribute to full-stack features for Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate applications with Angular front ends and Postgres or MS SQL databases.


• Participate in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices, including testing, verification, and deployment automation.


• Ensure documentation of designs, processes, and source code is created and maintained.


• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, data engineering, platform, and solutions teams.


• Perform expert-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system investigations to resolve issues.


• Contribute to architecture and design discussions and lead targeted cross-functional improvement efforts.


• Mentor junior engineers and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or more high-level languages such as Java, Go, Python, C, C++, or C#.


• Experience building scalable, highly available distributed systems and cloud-native microservices.


• Hands-on full-stack development with Java/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Angular, and SQL databases (Postgres or MS SQL).


• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.


• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.


• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.


• Experience with modern application development frameworks and data-centric platforms.


• Education and experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's with 7+ years.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.


• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure and open-source technologies.


• Background in databases, analytics, big data systems, BI products, or machine learning.


• Experience developing software for healthcare or clinical domains.


• Familiarity with tools that support coding assistance such as Claude/Codex AI.
