Position: Mainframe Engineer - CA7 Specialist Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, Tampa, FL, Plano, TX, Columbus, OH
Duration: 6 to 12 months contract with high possibility of conversion
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Engineer with deep expertise in the CA7 scheduling product and a strong background in automation and workload orchestration.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills - Extensive hands-on experience with CA7, with capabilities that go beyond basic batch scheduling.
- Proven experience in CA7 configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and workflow optimization.
- Solid working knowledge of REXX for mainframe automation, utilities, and custom tooling.
- Strong understanding of job dependencies, calendars, triggers, and workload automation principles.

Nice to Have - Experience with Broadcom AAI (Automatic Automation Intelligence) for advanced workload analytics, forecasting, and monitoring.

Pay Range: $55 - $62/h on W2
