.Role Overview
- Pinnacle Infotech is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to take on a client-facing, revenue-generating leadership role within our US business.
- This is a Finder–Minder position, responsible for driving new business, managing client relationships, and leading engineering delivery teams.
- The role is ideal for professionals with a background in engineering consulting or design-build environments, who have progressively transitioned into client engagement and business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development (≈55%)
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the AEC market
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, and developers
• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing client accounts and securing new projects
• Represent Pinnacle at industry events, client meetings, and networking platforms
• Collaborate with internal leadership to define go-to-market strategies
2. Client Management & Team Leadership (≈20%)
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients
• Manage project expectations, timelines, and delivery quality
• Lead and mentor US and India-based engineering teams
• Participate in project kick-offs, coordination meetings, and executive reviews
• Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term engagement
3. Technical Oversight (≈25%)• Provide high-level technical direction on electrical system design and BIM execution
• Review and validate engineering deliverables for code compliance (NEC, IBC)
• Support QA/QC processes and ensure constructability of designs
• Guide teams on complex projects including data centers, healthcare, and commercial buildings
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (mandatory)
• 5–10+ years of experience in the US AEC industry
• Proven experience in engineering consulting or design-build firms
• Demonstrated exposure to client interaction, project management, and business development
• Strong understanding of NEC, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
