Summary
The AI Server Test Engineer will establish test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development or in production

Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinates and performs tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.
Gathers and studies information regarding materials and components to be used in production.
Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines the specific testing conditions to be applied.
Tests new products; develops systems to gather digital data during testing.
Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results.
Identifies any problems with new products; makes adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems.
Continues testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.
Drafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problems.
Develops ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporate into the regular production process.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Requires Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or minimum of two years of working experience as Test Engineer.

• Moderate to strong knowledge of scripting and configuration (but not limited to) C++, Python, XML, Bash/CMD, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Strong architecture knowledge of general computing devices, including CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, networking, and system interconnects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or related tools to prepare test reports, dashboards, and technical proposals.
• Handson experience with AI server platforms, GPUbased systems, and accelerator cards (e.g., NVIDIA SXM/PCIe architectures).
• Strong understanding of hardware validation, system integration testing, and regression testing methodologies.
• Experience with BIOS, BMC, firmware (FPGA, VBIOS, Re-Timer etc..), and OSlevel validation, including log analysis and issue triage.
• Familiarity with Linux environments (command line, system logs, performance monitoring tools).
• Ability to design, execute, and automate test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience with debugging hardware/software interaction issues, including thermal, power, performance, and stability problems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, NICs, switches).
• Understanding of manufacturing test flows, bringup processes, and failure analysis.
• Ability to interpret schematics, block diagrams, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Strong awareness of quality, compliance, traceability, and documentation standards in production environments.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Working Condition
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (using team lift practices).
