QA Automation/SDET-Full time-Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for web and mobile applications. The role involves end-to-end functional testing, regression automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, leveraging TestNG and Page Object Model (POM).

• Plan and execute automation and manual testing activities across multiple application releases.

• Build and enhance automation frameworks to support scalable and reusable test solutions.

• Perform regression testing and analyze test execution results to identify defects early.

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites for functional changes.

• Work with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server) to validate backend data and test results.

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines; exposure to Azure DevOps / TFS is a plus.

• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.

• Generate detailed test reports and provide clear quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to enable shift-left testing.

• Adapt to changing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts with hands-on experience in Java programming.

• Extensive experience in Selenium automation testing.

• Proficiency in TestNG framework using Page Object Model (POM).

• Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies.

• Experience with SpecFlow and BDD concepts.

• Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.

• Proven experience in automation testing frameworks.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).

• Exposure to mobile application testing (Android/iOS).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or application development.

• B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / MCA from a reputed university.

• Computer Science or related technical background preferred.
