Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications and integrations supporting the SITA AIRCOM platform and airline operational systems.
Develop and support REST/SOAP services, messaging workflows, and enterprise integrations involving ACARS, IBM MQ, XML, and JSON.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, integration, and production issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Build, deploy, and maintain applications on JBoss EAP, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across production and non-production environments.
Collaborate with airline operations, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and application optimization.
Support production releases, monitor application health, and participate in incident management and on-call activities for critical business systems.
Construct, test, and implement business and technical IT solutions using appropriate software development lifecycle methodologies.
Participate in standard IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems.
Apply specialized knowledge across application integration, cross-disciplinary functions, industry expertise, and legacy system evolution.
Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand the business environment and technical context.
Validate project scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of IT solutions spanning multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies.
Define project scope, plans, deliverables, and proposed implementation dates.
Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques.
